The Great Exodus – are you coming with us?

Hurry my children and you will see.

We’ll soon depart across the Red Sea.

Remember when Moses and the Israelites gathered at the shore?

We’re gathering, too; we’re waiting for the Lord, he’s knocking on your door.

The army is coming and they’re getting vey close.

Please don’t worry you are safe with the Lord of Hosts.

They’re trying to scare us and fill us with fear.

No need to worry because the Lord is with us and he’s near.

The Lord will move when he’s ready; soon the sea will open and we’ll walk across.

No one will drown because we are protected by the cross.

The pathway will be clear and the path a bit dusty.

You may say, “I’ve been here so long that my skills are even rusty.”

You have what you need to survive when you arrive on the other side.

The fear must go or you won’t survive the upcoming tides.

Like Peter who asked Jesus to ask him to walk on water.

Jesus said, “come” and Peter started out of the boat and on the water he faltered.

Peter got scared as he took his eyes off Jesus when he looked down at his feet.

It’ll be the same with you dear children when you leave your seats.

Jesus needs us! The harvest is ripe and the workers are few.

Will you leave your money, job and earthly possessions to join the crew?

We are ready and our time to choose is drawing near.

Will you join us or will you be a victim of fear?

There are no comfortable lodgings along with no big fanfare.

Just people who are broken, crying, hungry for the Lord with no earthly wares.

Are you ready brother or sister in Christ?

The time is at hand. What will you choose this night?

We all have a purpose, a mission and a quest.

Will you follow Jesus, it’s his only request?

Our time on earth is not for pleasure, fun or a leisure life.

We’re workers of the cross and we’re here to serve our Savior and others alike.

The Great Commission is our motto, our mission, our plan!

You’ll find the lost waiting and looking for the fishers of men.

Join us while you can because the time is now and the lost will not wait.

The Son of God is coming soon and hell could be their fate.

I’ll see you on the other side because the crossing has begun.
